A non-refundable deposit of one third of the total cost is payable on booking and the balance payable not less than FOUR weeks before the arrival date. We do not issue reminders for the balance payment. The contract is valid once the funds have been cleared.
If you cancel the booking AT ANY TIME before or during the period reserved, we will make every effort to re-let the Barn. However, we reserve our rights to the balance of the tariff if re-letting cannot be arranged.
WE STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO TAKE OUT ADEQUATE HOLIDAY INSURANCE TO COVER ANY SUCH UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES.
The guest is fully responsible (to the value of a new replacement where appropriate) for any damage to the holiday home or any damage to or loss of any of its contents.
Guests are expected to leave the Barn clean and tidy and cleared of rubbish when vacating. You must report and pay for any damage or breakages or cleaning required during your stay.
Entry to The Barn will be from 3 pm on the arrival date. Please do not arrive early as we need time to prepare The Barn for your stay. Departure must be no later than 10 am on the final day of the letting period.
The accommodation is registered under a Statutory Permit for up to a maximum of FOUR guests.
Except with the prior written consent of the proprietor, no persons other than those named on the Guest Details may occupy the holiday home. The proprietors reserve the right to terminate the letting forthwith in the event of any breach of this condition.
All property of the guests is the responsibility of the guests and the proprietor accepts no responsibility whatsoever in the case of damage to or loss of such property. You are advised to take out your own insurance and the proprietor has Public Liability Insurance for their buildings and properties only.
No pets are permitted.
For the enjoyment of all our visitors we wish our guests to be non-smokers. We operate a No Smoking Policy inside the accommodation and anywhere from road entry
The guest acknowledges this agreement is made on the basis that the holiday home is to be occupied by the guest for the purpose of a holiday (and the guest further acknowledges that the tenancy granted by this agreement is not an assured tenancy and that no statutory tenancy will arise on the termination of the letting period, which complies with local laws).
We reserve the right of access to our property at all reasonable times.
Extensions may be possible if adverse weather causes delays to air and boat arrivals/departures. All is dependent on availability.
